So here we are…. I’m waiting for my DNS record to be freed up so I can move it from GoDaddy. I’m waiting to see if my latest submission to Google news will be approved or rejected. I’m waiting to see if we have enough stats in the Google search console so I can further analyze the site performance data.
I’m also waiting to get some time so I can focus my attention on building roadmaps.
And tonight… I’m not feeling very patient.
So let’s highlight some security topics….
Have you installed your patches for Windows 10 and other Microsoft products ? Did you know they came out on Tuesday ?The industry calls it “patch Tuesday”… it’s the second Tuesday of every month.
In fact, you ought to have this all set up automatically so that the patches get downloaded quietly in the background.
You will find a lot of articles every month going on and on about the specific vulnerabilities these patches address. For most people that’s more information than they need.
Thus my council is simply this…. Patch your PC/device, and you’ve eliminated most of the known vulnerabilities that could compromise your PC/device.
Microsoft isn’t the only vendor who issues patches on patch Tuesday, so look for updates for your Adobe products as well as others.
